This chicken is fabulous!! It can be used in so many ways! Breakfast, as part of a breakfast burrito, as part of a stuffed tomato, over some rice, in a tortilla....or just by itself, the way i prefer!
The tequila is optional, the alcohol cooks out, and the flavor is minimal. You can also spice it up by adding jalapenos if you like. Submitted by DARSAN
My family loves Shredded Beef, soft tacos, hard tacos, enchiladas, in taco salad or just over rice. This is my slow cooker recipe for shredded beef. You can reduce the peppers to make it less spicy.Submitted by MRS4WHEELBOB
A classic Italian pasta dish with bacon and ham tossed with egg and a creamy sauce.
I like these because they are a complete meal-in-one. Meat, vegetable and a little starch all wrapped up in each bundle.
This recipe makes up quicker than most when using a pressure cooker but it can be baked in the oven or in a Dutch oven on top of the stove.
There is some brown rice in it but the percentage of carbs is low and the protein is high. Ground turkey could be substituted for one or both of the meats but the nutrition information would need to be changed.
There are many different kinds of stuffed cabbage recipes originating from many countries. This is more like the Polish-type (pronounced go-wum-ki) and is simpler than others. If your lifestyle is like mine, simple is better! Submitted by HEALTHYLIVN4ME
This is seriously the world's best spinach and artichoke dip! It's creamy and fairly low fat. I use low fat cream cheese, but you could use fat free. This slimmed down version of your favorite dip is easy to make--and it's light enough for you to load up on it! This can also become a decadent pasta sauce. (As a sauce, it makes 10 servings. You might need to thin it a bit with cooking water from the pasta.)
This is the lower cal/lower fat version, and I'm happy to say it taste just the same!!!
It's not extremely low fat, but to me it's one of those comfort foods, that just taste good. This is the dish that all my friends always want me to make! Submitted by DARSAN
Make this the night before so it is ready to go for breakfast.
My dad used to make this when I was young. It was a favorite of mine.
