Cookbook creator says: Can use spaghetti sauce instead of tomatoe paste. See other comments: I eliminated the salt, used brown rice and leftover taco meat. Halved the peppers and stuffed open face. Really fills up the plate. Didn't boil either. A little shredded low fat cheddar adds nice color.
