Cookbook creator says: I made a version of this, kinda more or less used it as a reference. I remember a recipe from when I was a kid that this is similar to, and we had the really thick chops that needed to be cooked much longer. But it was goooooooood!

I usually make a big pot of this and keep it on hand. It keeps well in the fridge for months. Great taste but hardly and fat or calories! And best of all, its filling!

I generally leave out the Swiss chard and make up for it with other veggies since it is hard to find in my area :)
