I love almond butter but the calories are hard to justify.. so, I got this from heathereatsalmondbutter.com... it combines the almond butter with almond milk to make a sauce.. it cuts the calories of 1 tbsp in half without sacrificing the flavor... i put in oatmeal, on toast... I even added as a sauce to chicken!!

This is a simple recipe for homemade almond milk. To make this sweeter add another date. You can also add a tsp. of vanille extract or one vanilla bean for more flavor. This will last up to four days in the fridge.
