I revamped an original recipe named Peanut Butter Spotlights from "Old-Fashion Country Cookies" cookbook. Now less than half the original calories, used mini chocolate chips in place of candy coated peanut butter pieces. Oh soo good!Submitted by TLB1630
For a little extra kick, I like to put 2 Tbsp of Crushed Red Pepper in the mixture. For lower salt, use low salt Soy Sauce or leave out the Soy Sauce all together.

I like to use around 1/4C of this in my yogurt. I'm sure there are lower nutritional granolas on the market, but I'm also very budget conscience and find this to be not only thrifty, but more healthy since there isn't any preservatives in it.Submitted by SEAKRITS
Although these contain approximately 200 calories each, they are an all natural granola bar, rich in omega-3 fatty acid with 4 grams of fiber and 4 grams of protein. To save on some calories, you can make this without the ground flaxseed meal and almonds to make each bar approximately 150-160 calories each.
