Packed with 14 g of protein, these flourless brownies make for a good for you snack. Well, ok so they have some brown sugar in them... go ahead and try substituting with your favorite healthy sweetener...can't hurt to try. But for now, here is my original recipe.

Stefanie's Amazingly Smooth and Delicious Flan.

I have finally mastered making flan. After many attempts I am satisfied and very happy with this recipe. So far I have made 2 flan's and brought them over to my parents' and my brother's family. Both times, they couldn't stop eating the flan. It didn't make it to the next day. Oh, what a wonderful feeling! I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as my family and I have. :-)

Perfect for chocolate lovers! Great for entertaining, deceptively easy to make. Perfect for people who can't have gluten. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream, or simply dusted with icing sugar. I flour the pan using cocoa powder so it won't leave white marks on the cake and keeps it totally gluten free. Not low calorie, but very rich so you could easily half the portion if you pair it with some berries on top. I also know someone who substituted splenda for the sugar and swore she couldn't tell the difference but I have never tried it.
