This was inspired by a need to cook the chicken quickly while keeping the flavor and tenderness. The flavors I used are some of my family's favoites, and I thought they would hold up well on a grill. Submitted by ILYAHNA
This is (a) an improvement on Corner Bakery Cafe's Mom's Chicken Noodle Soup; (b) a large pot of vitamin-rich, naturally sweet, nutritious, chicken soup that (c) is very easy to make, (d) freezes well, (e) feeds about a dozen hungry people, and (f) I make throughout the year after having and making many different variations on a theme for many years
Although it can take a little time to get the chicken off the bones, it's SO worth it! Also, if you don't want to use a whole chicken or shredding it just isn't your thing, you can use chicken parts or whole breasts instead, cut off the big chunks, and dice or shred them. They'll take less cooking time, too.
There's nothing better for you, especially when ONLY chicken soup will do! It's not ambrosia (nectar of the gods), but it's as close as I can get! I appreciate your feedback and input. Enjoy! SparkPeople rocks my world! Nancy, a/k/a KEEPITMOVINGSubmitted by KEEPITMOVING
From EatBetterAmerica... A yummy and EASY low cal chicken breast dinner, using some of my favorites like balsamic, feta and italian seasonings, but I reduced the calories from their original recipeSubmitted by KINI08
This Hungarian dish is easy and delicious. The original recipe said it is for "4" but I found that depending on the size of your chicken it really makes enough for "6" or 3 days of meals or leftovers!Submitted by REBECKY44
If you like lemons, you'll love this simple chicken dish!
This is large recipe for batch cooking and freezes great! The recipe is calculated using boneless, skinless chicken thighs; to reduce the fat, use boneless, skinless breasts instead. Low sodium at 114mg per serving. Submitted by MEMRYLAPS
I love this recipe, I made this up to flavor up some chicken and eat it al the time since I have been dieting. It is so good! I hope you all think so too! I like this the best with the chicken cooked on the grill but you can do whatever method you like to cook the chicken.Submitted by SNAVELA1
Low carb and very yummy! I threw this together with ingredients I had on hand and it turned out delicious! My husband and daughter could not get enough of it! I love crockpot recipes, especially in winter. You can use low fat/reduced sodium cream of chicken soup if you want to reduce fat and sodium more and serve this over rice or wide egg noodles if you aren't watching carbs.
