My family traditon for the holidays is to make noodles from scratch , they take some time to roll out , cut and dry overnight before cooking and my reciepe is with fat milk and you have to let the dough rest for ten minutes before rolling out .

I found this recipe on the Internet. It said it makes 2 servings but I fed a family of four with one batch. It is a little more work than opening a package of noodles, but they taste better.

"Vanilla extract" usually isn't made with real vanilla. The good news is that it's really easy--and affordable--to make your own.

These healthy breakfast bars provide a respectable level of protein and fiber without a ton of calories. Best of all, they can be eaten on the run. Reconfigure the "additions" to suit your fancy.... or replace the Splenda with another sweetener if you're trying to stay "au natural." This is a base recipe that can be tweaked to your taste!

Low-Sodium Breakfast Sausage

Love your breakfast sausage but can't handle all the sodium? Try this lower sodium version: 25% less fat, and 1/10th of the sodium.

Quick, healthy option for breakfast sausage. I've been making these for years. One pound of ground turkey makes about 12 sausage patties.

I love Jimmy Dean's Sage sausage but with 180 calories per 2-ounce serving (and 140 of those calories are from fat) it is an indulgence. Compare this chicken sausage, which is delicious, to Jimmy Dean's and then give it a try. This chicken sausage has less sodium, less than half the calories, only 1 gram of fat compared to JD's 16 grams and over twice the protein. JD's sausage also has some undesirable additives like corn syrup, dextrose and monosodium glutamate (MSG).
