Venison is a "healthier" red meat as it is very lean and tasty. It can be used in any traditional beef recipe in place of beef. This recipe is a quick, low fat and wonderfully flavorful. If you do not have access to venison lean beef can be used.

Delicious and less expensive than packaged mixes. I usually triple this and store it in a quart jar in the freezer. So easy! It can also be adjusted to suit your taste. If you prefer a hotter seasoning add more red pepper flakes. Very low sodium too.

A cleaned up, South of the Border Mexican Recipe. I have been told by friends that came over to eat before I started dieting that these were the best marinated fajitas they ever had. I have slightly revised the recipe removing some oils and reducing the calories.
