Unsaturated fats are good for you, lowering cholesterol & reducing your risk of heart disease. You should take about 44g unsaturated fat and 2,000 calories a day. Excess calories which you don't burn will turn into fat for your body. Keep this in mind and have healthy eating.

This is a yummy salad that is very flexible. Try subbing olive oil/balsamic vinegar as a dressing. Remember avocados are a little bit higher in the mono saturated (healthier) fats but also a great source of fiber! On the 2nd round of this salad, I tried adding dill and some rinsed, canned chicken. That was also good. Enjoy :)

This soup is so creamy and silky - it tastes like it's full of cream. But it doesn't have a drop of dairy.
i modified the original recipe slightly by substituting olive oil instead of butter & fresh ginger instead of powdered ginger.Submitted by CITYGIRL666
This is a dish you can use many ways!!! Eat it like a burrito, in place of taco meat on your tacos, as a dip for tortilla chips, or our favorite way is to put just a little in a soft flour taco with a little salsa and low fat sour cream. yummm... however you eat it, it is wonderful! Make it healthier with a whole wheat tortilla!! Submitted by SEWINGMEG
I call it Farmer's Pot Pie because you should use whatever beans and vegetables you have available according to what is in season and available to you. Skinny because the crust is only on top.Submitted by STRIVE4BALANCE
This fresh and tangy cucumber dill sauce uses non-fat plain yogurt to give it a creamy taste and texture. It can be eaten as a side dish with grilled chicken or as a topping on a gyro or pita sandwich!!!! Submitted by MISSJCISRUNNING
