I make this in a big batch and eat it with nonfat yogurt in the morning, just put it into little cups and microwave for a fast breakfast that will keep you full until lunch. Also, dont skip the salt, it adds a rich, buttery taste that makes you think you are eating a desert rather than a healthy breakfast! My family says it is like eating applecrumble all mixed up.

I'm trying to eat more "natural," which includes making my own treats. These fit the bill, technically except for the applesauce (but if you want, you can use oil instead of apple sauce, though it'll raise the calories). These don't use any sugar.

I bet these would be good with pieces of apple or peach, or chocolate chips.

This side dish is a great replacement for store-bought stuffing. It cooks up quicker and is a lot healthier. This recipe is also wheat free and vegan, but you could add parmesan cheese if you desired.
