My daughter gave me this idea. I use it instead of margarine on my toast in the morning. You can also use it as a cream cheese replacement in recipes. It's not as creamy as cream cheese but it works just as well and has more protein and much less fat. I'm even going to try using it as a fat replacement in regular recipes to see if it works there too.

This is one of Hungary's well known and beloved dishes. It traditionally uses bacon drippings and whole cut-up chicken with skin. I also now use yogurt as a thickener for the sauce instead of the traditional roux. I have "lightened" it as best I can without loosing the flavour. It is usually served with dumplings called "Galuska", recipe follows, but I would recommend brown rice or whole grain pasta, rye bread and a lettuce salad (recipe also follows) . This is a dish that you can serve with pride to guests.

My mom used to make this delicious version of French toast for breakfast when I was growing up as a great alternative for getting rid of overripe bananas. It makes regular French toast seem bland in comparison! This is excellent topped with a low calorie maple syrup or your favorite yogurt (I like strawberry). **Please note: I usually get my bread from a local bakery, so I did not include the bread in the nutrition values. It sounded great, but I wanted to use less oil, didn't want to buy garam masala (when I had the ingredients for it on hand already), added a missing ingredient into the calorie count, and reduced the serving size.
