I would love to take credit for this recipee but it belongs to my friend Jen who usues authentic spices directly from India, you can however purchase these spices at a specialty Indian store in your area.

Adapted from www.food-india.com. To lower the fat content, substitute tofu for paneer. Serve over brown rice--I have factored in 1/2 cup for each serving, which always leaves me stuffed. This recipe doubles nicely for some leftovers!

This is from my "eat shrink and be merry" cookbook by Janet and Greta Podleski. This is probably the best Butter Chicken recipe I've ever tried and is quick, easy and a huge hit with my entire family, its one of my teenaged son's all time favorites!
