Spring Rolls
Very Good 4.3/5

This recipe is really easy; it's really more of a process than a recipe. Rice paper wrappers, which are available in the ethnic sections of most larger supermarkets these days, are a great way to wrap your veggies and protein for a quick snack or light lunch.

Japanese Steak House Yum Yum Sauce
Good 3.3/5

It's the yum yum sauce you always need seconds of at the Japanese steak house. Goes great with shrimp, steak, chicken, veggies, just about everything!

I am a huge fan of ramen. I am -not- a huge fan of the seasoning packets that -come- with the ramen, though. After having had real, Japanese ramen, it's hard to stomach those blah packet-flavors, and they're so, so salty. And thus, this is one ramen broth recipe I'd found (and have heavily modified) to make one of the huge bowls of Japanese-style miso-flavored ramen that I love so well.

NOTE: This does -not- include the calories for the noodles themselves! You can use basic packaged ramen noodles, or soba noodles, rice noodles... basically, anything you prefer to use is good. Or you can leave them out entirely. The choice is up to you!

Baked Chicken Egg Rolls: Un-Chained Recipe Contest
Very Good 4.4/5
(39 ratings)

One of my biggest fast-food temptations are greasy fried egg rolls from places like Panda Express. I made over this healthy version using lean chicken and fresh vegetables. Baking the egg rolls instead of frying them saves even more calories and these don't disappoint! They're flavor packed and I can make them often without feeling guilty. I serve them at parties, or for dinner with a side of brown rice. (Un-Chained Recipe Contest Entry- Fast Food Category)

This recipe was passed down to me by my Chinese coworker. Tastes like it was made in a Chinese restaurant!

Easy to make. Can serve over rice, but we eat it without rice or anything else. Spice sizes are estimates -- I was just throwing them in while cooking.
