My husband hates oatmeal, and this is a good, high fiber, high protein alternative. Can also mix up a big batch either on the stove or the crockpot and eat all week. Add whatever toppings you want to it: they're not included in the recipe calculation

Cookbook creator says: another recipe that I "made over" due to caloric miscalculation in the original. This now has the calculations for the dried lentils added rather than cooked lentils...

Cookbook creator says: recalculated for dry ingredients. I find it best to add tomatoes to last 30-60 min of cooking or the acid from the tomatoes keeps the lentils from softening...
