This is a quick and easy recipe, made with cake mix and lemon lime soda. You can use diet soda and brown sugar style Splenda to lower the calories even further, but I didn't have them on hand.

I love German cabbage and noodles with sausage, but it can become very high fat if made the old fashioned way. I have substitued Turkey Kielbasa for the sausage, and whole wheat linguine.

MODIFIED 5/3/10 - reduced the fat and changed the sausage to chicken instead of turkey, also used onion powder instead of onions.

Good old-fashioned fried potatoes with sausage & onions. You can make this with less butter and/or oil to lower the calories even further. The smoked turkey sausage is a little high in sodium, but I haven't been able to find any lower in my area.

A long, long time ago, Taco Bell used to make a "Santa Fe Chalupa". I loved the flavor of the smoky/sweet/spicy sauce, so I created my own low-fat version. It is especially good on egg burritos! And the best part is that you get the Taco Bell Fire Sauce packets for free if you go there...
