These pancakes are so yummy, they are creamy, not heavy, but very filling!! Low Fat, only 67 calories and almost 3 g of protein per pancake!

Add some nuts, berries and honey to keep your pancakes "CLEAN!"

My whole family loves these! Although they may seem small (considering the size of muffin we can get in a bakery) but we always add a helping of fruit or yogurt for breakfast. Yummy!

My family keeps a batch of these on hand for quick and nutritious breakfasts and snacks. The ingredients are something that most people have in their homes, requiring no additional trips to the grocery store. The final product is perfectly portion controlled, low calories, and super satisfying. This beats the pre-packaged oatmeal squares you can buy at the store any day!

Un-Chained Recipe Contest - Healthy Egg Muffin Breakfast Sandwich
Very Good 4.4/5
(25 ratings)

I eat breakfast on the run almost every day, and McDonald's Egg McMuffin value meal was a common breakfast choice. Then I discovered I could make my own sandwich at home in the time it would take me to go through the drive-thru, and I could make it much healthier (and I think tastier, too!). I have even made this sandwich at work to eat at my desk by just cooking the egg and warming the ham in the microwave. I pair it with a serving of fruit, and my day is off to a great start!

I found this on FANNEtastics food blog. Sounds delicious and tastes even better! She usues frozen blueberries, but I think raisins are just what the recipe needs!

A terrific way to start your day, much better than the frozen waffles you can find at the grocery store.

A hearty pancake that provides over 6 grams of fiber per serving. I like to add blueberries to the batter. Very kid-friendly recipe!
