I really love that they are not only made with things around the house, but also that they do not involved bottled marinades. Bottle marinades have so many ingredients that I can't pronounce and wonder if they even exist naturally.

I love marinating my food and grilling, especially in summer! One piece I've been stumped on is how to calculate the nutritional content of the marinade. Obviously not all of it goes into the meat, but some must, right? How do we figure this out?

I attribute a great part of my weight loss to grilling. I have a charcoal grill and routinely add hickory chips and use a cedar plank whenever possible. It takes very little marinade and the flavor of so very good.
