A great smoothie and very easy for breakfast or a treat
- I use in a bullet
1/2 cup Liberty no fat yogurt
1/2 cup frozen strawberries
A splash of orange juice
1 tsp of vanilla extract
It's delicious and you can add protein powder, etc., if you choose, or additional fruit. The yogurt makes it nice and thick and the frozen berries too.

I am hooked on Dr. Oz Breakfast Shakes.. I have been making them for a few months for my husband and me almost every morning and we have noticed huge weight loss and helath benefits. The basic recipe is below, but I have had fun experimenting by adding greens, and various ingredients (green tea powder, liquid vitamins/minerals, nutri-cleanse, milk/yogurt, nuts, antioxidants, probiotics, etc...) to maximize health benefits, energy and muscle repair following heavy workouts.
1 cup juice, any kind
1 banana or 3/4 cup frozen fruit
2 tablespoons protein powder
2 tablespoons ground flax
1 tablespoon physilluim husk
1 tablespoon wheat germ
1 tablespoon chia seeds
break capsule of fish oil and add liquid
Depending on ingredients used, this can be delicious and with all the fiber content, it's very filling and cleansing. We are hooked!

Yes. Kale is good in a smoothie- but you got to get the hard stems off. As is watercrest and lamb's lettuce.
I prefer fresh fruit in my smoothie. My blender probably won't cope with anything too hard.
