Venison Taco Filler

We cook regularly with deer meat as it is much leaner than beef, and has great flavor. This is our version of taco filler using ground venison (no tallow or beef mix added). TIP: If you don't like the flavor of venison try adding a cup of beef broth to the meat; in this case, add it instead of water with the taco seasoning. Kelly's Asian Beef and Broccoli

This is a great substitute for take-out, and much better for you!! Even the left-overs are terrific. I serve this dish over whole wheat noodles (lo-mein style) or brown rice (brown rice adds 100 calories per serving).
