Another version of the "I need to eat more veggies" soup recipe I wrote. The fire roasted tomatoes make a huge difference and the lentils give it that bit of protein. Subsituting vegetable broth would make this a great vegetarian meal, I didn't have any in the house when I mixed up this last batch.

This is very tastey and easy. It tastes like it was on the stove all day when you are really just throwing a few things together. It makes 6- 1 1/2 C servings which fills you up!Submitted by RUMBAMEL
This was originally a start for a white chicken chili for the family and then I decided it needed tomatoes and it became something else. I used some cranberry beans that were dried that I cooked in veggie broth.Submitted by RUMBAMEL
My husband and I have been making this recipe from a book called "Top Secret 'Restaurant' Recipes" for a long time. I use evaporated fat free milk instead of heavy cream that the book calls for and use a lot more kale. I also cook it less time.Submitted by RUMBAMEL
