I use London Broil (top round roast) to make this recipe because it is very lean and I can easily cut off all the visible fat before cooking. I buy several roasts at a time and freeze them. When I'm ready to make hash I slightly thaw the meat so that I can dice it easily with a steak knife.Submitted by KRITTERKEEPERS

This is from Taste of Home. I entered all the ingredients exactly, and this calculator says one serving is 293, and Taste of Home says one serving is 436. I have to go with the lesser one because I'm looking at the calculations exactly. We really loved this recipe, so I'm adding it to my recipe box.Submitted by LALASLAND
