Pasta, ground turkey, marinara sauce, and some veggies. Makes about 8 servings (1/8 of pot estimated)Submitted by SUSIE_Q

Ground Beef Borscht

I've made this on the stove, or in the crockpot cooked on low for 8 hrs. If using crockpot brown the hamburger first.
It's even better the next day! Use lean stew meat in place of hamburger if desired. Extra lean ground beef is less expensive..
Garnish with a dollop of sour cream if desired, I don't do this and it's not in the nutrition count.Submitted by NORTHWOODSLUNA

Beef with Asparagus and Cherry Tomatoes

This is one of our favorite family recipes given to me years ago by my BFF Anni. The most time consuming part of this recipe is the slicing of the vegetables. This can be done ahead of time for a really quick dinner entre. We usually serve it with wild rice or a plain baked potatoSubmitted by NORTHWOODSLUNA

Mann's Confetti Meat Balls

These meatballs are great served plain, or with marinara sauce, in a soup, or as a hot sandwhichSubmitted by NORTHWOODSLUNA

This easy to make Beef Stew can be made with lower sodium products, very lean beef stew meat, etc. Each serving would come out to approx 400 calories. Makes a nice roaster size dinner. Hearty enough for all the men in the family, yet slimmed down enough for our diets. :)Submitted by KLOVESJC

Traditional Lasagne

My family loves this recipe. It is pretty easy to make, sometimes I add mushrooms and sometimes spinach. Make it your own. Submitted by AMYFALKE

Borsch (Beet Soup)

This is a treasured family recipe, adapted from what my Ukrainian mother-in-law used to make. Each time you make it the taste will be different, but always excellent and even better as the flavors meld. The amount of vinegar and dill may be adjusted to add flavor. This is one of those recipes that you make early in the day and let cook on the stove slowly for several hours.Submitted by YOGOGIRL
