It's a Chanukah tradition, turned upside down! Sweet potato and turnip stand in for the classic potatoes, and creamy chestnut puree and Craisins add an air of sophistication to the mix. Serve hot with a drizzle of maple syrup for a truly divine experience.Submitted by JO_JO_BA
Taking inspiration from my mom's favourite cookbook and our bible for fall baking - Apples, Peaches and Pears by Elizabeth Baird - I combined the title fruits in a simple whole-wheat pastry crust and baked it to golden perfection. It's the perfect treat for the end of Summer when peaches are in their prime, pears are just starting to emerge and even early apple crops are half decent. Without having to fiddle with a pie pan or a top crust, it's a snap to put together!Submitted by JO_JO_BA
I love a good dessert but don't trust myself with leftovers from a large batch recipe so I came up with this recipe which makes enough for my family to have one each and no tempting leftovers. Also with just one carb per serving, no added sodium from leavening agents, and less than 150 calories, it works into my menu plans wonderfully.Submitted by JUSTJULLIE

A great low-carb breakfast, but beware - the serving size is small, and the stuff is incredibly addictive, so make sure you measure your portion and hide the rest in an inconvenient place!! Excellent served with cream.
Small low calorie individual cheesecakes.Submitted by SWEETPOTATOKNEE
This is a wonderful, special french toast. It has lots of fruit. The nuts add to the protein giving you about 7 grams per serving and one toast is plenty to satisfy that sweet tooth with healthy nutrition to get the morning off and running. Submitted by DUTRIFIT
