This slow-cooked dish is fantastic and simple for those extra veggies in the summer garden. Our kids eat it because the ingredients look like a rainbow of colors.Submitted by VCATULLO
Baguettes from "All You Knead is Bread" by Jane Mason. A long process beginning with a pre-dough, a gazillion stretch and folds and a sticky shaping, but so worth it in the end! These have a whole-wheat and sourdough “predough” and a half whole wheat final dough spiked with a tiny bit of yeast-boosting ginger for a tangy, slightly nutty flavour! If doing this by hand vs. a stand mixer, I suggest investing in a bench scraper for the initial kneading.Submitted by JO_JO_BA
I have been makinig French Onion Soup for years, but because I have recently started cooking for family members with restrictive diets I have gone a step further, and have come up with what I believe is a pretty good fat free version ;) I am new to posting recipes (as of 3 hours ago, lol), and could not get it exact on Sparks calculations, but I can assure you, this is fat free. This soup is chock full of onions, as I think onion soup should be, so you don't miss all the "fattening stuff"!
I hope you use this recipe, as I always do, as a guide...and make whatever changes or improvements work for you!
