A yummy, quick vegan dish!
As a main dish 1/2 of the recipe is a reasonable serving, however, if other foods such as salad, soup, rice, or bread is being served, you could probably make do with 1/4 to 1/5 of the recipe, you would need to adjust calorie levels though.Submitted by THRICEBLESSED

Other vegetables that cook up quickly can be used in addition to the turnip or other greens - just make sure you re-calculate the recipe numbers. Also bear in mind that the more veggies you add, the more servings you will get out of the recipe so make your own adjustments accordingly.

I make this and bottle the leftovers to use for about 3 more servings of my Chickpea Cauliflower Coconut Curry recipe (also on Sparkrecipes.com). This can be used in any Indian recipe calling Garam Masala. This is the easy version because it uses ground spices...if you have whole and have the time to toast and grind them, that is ideal!Submitted by SHELLER226
