I love creamy alfredo sauces, but I'm lactose intolerant and trying to lose weight. So cheese was out, and heavy cream. Instead I tried it with skim milk (that is fairly kind to me) and flour (we use it in Louisiana to thicken our gravy for our rice). I roasted a clove of garlic and mushed it into the milk/flour sauce for more flavor.
Most of the prep time is just roasting garlic in your oven.

This is just the sauce without pasta. It is meant to be on linguine. It is a spicy sauce with shrimp. It's sooooo good, especially if you have enough calories left to enjoy a glass of wine. :-)Submitted by AMFETZ21
