This soup is absolutly delish! You can add chicken or turkey, but it is honestly just fine without. If you use homemade chicken stock, like my mother does, you really won't need the meat. Also, just to clarify, the cooking and prep times are NOT exact. Everyone's stove and kitchen appliances are different, so while it takes my mom just 45 minutes, actual cooking time may vary.Submitted by NARNIAFANIAM
