This salad is so incredibly tasty and healthy. It’s got a flavor that’s bright from the basil and lemon juice, and salty/savory from the onion, garlic, olives, and artichoke hearts. I love it, too, because it looks like an Italian flag that was put in a blender! Great for picnics, BBQs, etc.

This is the simplest thing for a bagged salad mix to take to work. Just add all the ingredients (except the salt) into your container, shake, add salad greens, take to work. When you're ready to eat it, salt the salad (sparingly!) and shake the container. Voila.
The honey and mustard will keep the dressing from separating, but be sure to use oil and vinegar you really like; you still really taste both. Submitted by COMMITMENTS
This is a quick, easy, and very tasty salad that is actually filling. You can play with the quantities of fruit or use substitutions, whatever is on hand will probably taste good as long as the fruit is firm. We used Girard's Light Champagne Dressing (2 tablespoons = 60 calories) but many others would be good too. You can also hold the chicken to make an easy vegetarian meal.Submitted by FIREFLYJD

I love this salad as a side dish or light lunch. I never knew how to cook wheat berries before. They can usually be found at your local health food store. Submitted by PRUSIA
