I mix this up and put it into a sandwich baggie. When you're out biking 50+ miles you need some carbs and proteins. I'll usually eat this after I'm at the half way point or a couple hand fulls at each stop.Submitted by BILLALEX70
Loaded with healthy fats and high fiber, this breakfast keeps me full longer than any other option. It is a bit high calorie but I am finding that the higher my calories are in the morning (as long as they are nutrient dense calories), the less likely I am to snack later in the day! These are a great tasting low calorie snack.These muffins are not only low in calories but they are low in sugar with 3.1 grams of sugar in eachone.
If you would rather use 1 Cup Of splenda and 1 cup of Sugar the calories per muffin end up being 213.
