The kind of tea I use does not appear in SparkPeople's food list: decaf loose Darjeeling. It's not easy to find but I don't want the caffeine and Darjeeling makes the kind of chai I'm used to. I guess any Indian, unflavored tea would work--use what you like best.Submitted by AMYZM999
This is a basic recipe that can be easily altered to suite your taste and what you have on hand, but as is, it's packed with yummy flavors and nutrition. Try using different types of lentils or herbs, or swap veggies for your favorites. Use less potato to easily lower the calories and still have a filling meal. I used 1 large potato for the calories here. I will try adding Polish sausage to this for my boyfriend.
