A lovely vegan soup for autumn, best made with the fresh harvest from your own garden.
This dish may be made up to 2 days in advance and stored in a covered container and heated just before serving, or even canned for storage and later enjoyment.
Tasty and healthy in more ways than one, this soup helps to boost the immune system!

I used a recipe from a Bob's Red Mill package as a 'blueprint', but then altered it to make it more healthy. There's no sugar in here, only the sweetener: blue agave nectar. Also, there are no animal products used. No eggs, but that's why I used the kuzu root. If you can't find the kuzu root, I think cornstarch might work - but I've never tried it so be aware of that. I also added more of a variety of dried (or in the case of chopped dates - pseudo-dried) fruit and some orange zest. So enjoy, and let me know what you think!Submitted by CINOBIA

A green smoothie containing avocado, spinach, celery, bananas, lime, ginger and garlic. The garlic, celery and ginger add a lot of flavor to this smoothie, which would have a neutral taste without them. Soy milk and water are used to turn the thick veggy pulp into a fluid shake.Submitted by NARNACH
