This is a fast and easy recipe that tastes like a special occassion. The red wine can be replaced with 2 tablespoons of vinegar and water topped up make 1/2 cup. The original recipe says to do this over a grill, which I think would be fantastic. However, apartment living doesn't always allow that. I throw it in the oven for a while until the outsides have turned dark and the inside is a perfect medium.
