Very simple and healthy chili recipe to make. Just throw all ingredients together and cook for one hour. You can adjust the amount of jalapenos and chili powder to make it more spicy if you would like.

I got this recipe from my sister and it has become a favourite dish for our family. It can be made with chicken or turkey - a GREAT recipe for leftovers.
I had some issues entering the ingredients, so I had to input 1 cup low fat cheddar cheese and 3 oz. low fat mozzarella cheese instead of 2 cups low fat marble cheese.
You can reduce the fat of this recipe by using low fat cream of chicken soup or no fat sour cream.

Falafel is one my favorite foods, but most places tend to fry it on oil. However, I came across this raw falafel recipe which you can serve moist or dehydrated. Serve in lettuce leaves with cucumbers and tomatoes with a drizzle of your favorite sauce.

It's better than stopping at Starbucks, both for taste, cost, and nutritional value for the calories you're taking in. Swap out different frozen fruits for variety; add protein powder or probiotic powders for more punch. Buy fruit in season in bulk and freeze it yourself to save money.
