This can be made healthier in several ways such as using chicken breasts instead of dark meat or salt free tomatoes and leave out the capers. This was my Mom's basic recipe except she used a skinned whole chicken instead of only the dark meat pieces. Almost everything is subject to changing quantities to the cook's preferences and it still tastes good.Submitted by STILLFLYIN
This is a fast and easy recipe that tastes like a special occassion. The red wine can be replaced with 2 tablespoons of vinegar and water topped up make 1/2 cup. The Splenda may be replaced with brown or white sugar. Nutrition info is for Splenda, not sugar. Submitted by PRAIRIEDAWNPAM
