This isn't your Hershey's syrup! Eating a spoonful of this is like indulging in liquid fudge, without it's super-gritty nature. Note the two major differences in this recipe from most other "sweet" ones - no vanilla, and salted butter! Both make this nothing but the best, because after all everything's better with buttah! Makes 26 two-tbsp servings.

These cookies are some of my favorites from childhood. They keep for ages, and are not too bad for you if you don't eat too many! You can add lots of other ingredients to change the flavor - the recipe is pretty much bulletproof. Try it with nuts, chocolate chips, craisins, cinnamon - the possibilities are endless! They also pack and ship beautifully. Yum!
