This dish is easy to prepare - mix all ingredients (and salt and/or pepper to taste) and marinate with chicken for 10 minutes up to 24 hours before (refrigerate if marinating more than 20 minutes). For Honey, note that 1 tbsp = 3 tsp (i.e. 2/3 tbsp = 2 tsp). Feel free to substitute seasonings to taste.

I got this from the Fix It and Forget It Lightly cookbook. It calls for any diet soda. I actually used Diet Dr. Pepper. I used Kraft Original Barbecue Sauce. Finally, I'm not an onion person, so I skipped them--and used minced onion instead. It was ABSOLUTELY delicious! The only hard part is eating JUST ONE SERVING!

This cost efficient dish is easy to prepare in a dorm, office, or small kitchen. I use a 3 quart slow cooker and i adjust it to low. Serve warm or cold with whole-wheat tortillas and beans!
