If you are cooking for someone on a low sodium diet, use this recipe instead of taco seasoning. This recipe is the equivelant to one package of taco seasoning (or 3 tablespoons.) Adjust the strength of any ingredient to your taste.

Similar concept to another recipe of mine, and other popular recipes on this site, but this recipe uses low sodium ingredients, and is still very tasty! I freeze leftovers in small microwaveable containers, and place them back in the refridgerator the day before I want to reheat them.

This is large recipe for batch cooking and freezes great! The recipe is calculated using boneless, skinless chicken thighs; to reduce the fat, use boneless, skinless breasts instead. Low sodium at 114mg per serving.

Colorful, healthy, and delicious. Only about 250 calories for a one cup serving. Lowfat and low sodium. Use whole wheat rotini or other types of pasta in place of the rainbow rotini I used. The Jennie O Extra Lean Ground Turkey Breast is really good. (It's so good I eat two 1 cup servings but I track it on the SparkPeople nutrition tracker!)

A one skillet meal that is quick, easy and delicious. To make it super quick use a bag of frozen low-fat buttered corn, a bag of seasoned home fries or hashbrowns and seasoned ground turkey for a fast meal.
