This is my version of a fiber blend like metamucel. No sugar or anything artificial. The spices each have a health benefit for the colon. I take I tablespoon a day in a glass of water with about 1 oz of juice. All ingredients should be finely ground.

I like this, because I am allergic to tomatoes, and cannot eat most chili recipes. This one is also good, because it has a secret ingredient, dry cocoa, which makes it really good.

From a German friend, my best memory of her now. She called them Dags, and this recipe has been in her family for a long time. These are especially good topped with honey, or applesauce and cinnamon.

This homemade alternative to store-bought granola bars, is a good source of protein, fiber and healthy fats. Tasty and so simple to make! A quarter cup of raisins (not included here) also make a yummy addition!
