Delicious protein kick under 225 calories early in the morning - and just as fast as driving to McD's to pick up the real (super unhealthy) thing! Cut out the slice of deli meat for vegetarian delight and to save about 30-50 calories.

Perfect for a single person. I make up snack bags with the hashbrowns and vegetables mixed together ahead of time. 5 snack bags fit nicely into a quart size freezer bag. When you get ready to prepare it, just pull a bag out of the freezer as it saves time in morning not having to measure everything.

These healthy breakfast bars provide a respectable level of protein and fiber without a ton of calories. Best of all, they can be eaten on the run. Reconfigure the "additions" to suit your fancy.... or replace the Splenda with another sweetener if you're trying to stay "au natural." This is a base recipe that can be tweaked to your taste!
