This is a quick, easy breakfast when you're in a hurry. I generally use frozen blueberries and thaw them in the microwave before I put them on top. You can use any granola cereal, and the raisins are optional (but I usually add them because I like them and the granola cereal doesn't have very many). You can adjust the ingredients to suit your tastes (i.e., small banana, fewer raisins).Submitted by MUDDYBUDDY

I am so trained to include protein in my meals that having oatmeal without adding protein never quite seemed like a "meal". Protein from adding soymilk and peanut butter makes this a very satisfying and filling dish. I use the "Heart Healthy" portion size of 3/4 cup dried oats with 1 1/2 cups of water.Submitted by DADIGITIZER
By nature of being vegan, this recipe is cholesterol free, though I suppose you could change that and use regular butter and milk instead if that's what you have on hand.
This is a plain recipe that will make a biscuit-like scone, but you can jazz them up with whatever you have around: cinnamon, blueberries, dark chocolate chips, etc.
I usually add about a cup of blueberries. (If you do this, add .125 cups of blueberries to your nutrition tracker for each serving)Submitted by TAILSFOX
"Pasta and Beans" This recipe can be made with many types of dry pasta and many different types of beans. It is also good with Ditalini a small tube pasta or in place of the kidney beans try black beans. The choice is up to you. You clean out the refrigerator of all the vegetables and add beans and pasta. In place of the Ground Beef try Ground Turkey. In place of the Italian Sausage use Ground Turkey Italian.
