Cookbook creator says: I got this recipe from my sister over 20 years ago. When I made it for the first time for my husband, he LOVED it and called it "slop" (i't's is an endearing nickname). I was originally shocked that you put the macaroni in uncooked, but it cooks up perfectly by the end.

Cookbook creator says: I got this recipe about 7 years ago from a fellow WW'er on line. It's so easy and very healthy! Beans are the perfect food - low in fat, high in protein and fiber. It's very yummy too. I like things hot, so I use taco seasoning that has a kick to it, but it would be good with mild too.

Cookbook creator says: My mother used to make this and I HATED it as a kid! Now I really like it, especially over salmon patties or salmon loaf. It's merely a white sauce with cooked frozen peas in it. Very easy and low cal if you make it with nonfat skim milk.
