The meat does not need to be seared in skillet first to make this fall-apart tender, pulled BBQ beef for sandwiches. This recipe has so much flavor no one will notice the Worcestshire sauce & the salt were deleted to reduce sodium (you may also use low-sodium catsup and BBQ to reduce sodium further). Using molasses instead of brown sugar and Worcestshire gives a depth of flavor and authenticity, while reducing sugar & sodium. It is great to take to picnics, buffets, or tailgating. Freezes well.

Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken
Very Good 4.2/5

Good in sandwiches, on pizza, and stuffed into a baked potato, this spicy chicken is far lighter than Buffalo wings.

Found this recipe in a pack of coupons but made some modifications. Turkey instead of beef and light cheese.

Set it and forget it! This is delicious and it's easy to tailor to your liking. Choose mild taco seasoning and salsa and omit the jalapenos if you don't like spicy food (or substitute green bell pepper for the jalapeno). Choose medium/hot taco seasoning and salsa if you like spicy food. Even sprinkle some dried chili flakes into the slow cooker if you want added heat.

This recipe makes enough to serve for a crowd but is easy to cut in half and just use 1 tenderloin.

Serving options are limitless...wrap in a whole grain tortilla with low-fat cheese and rice, put over a salad with avocado, pair it with your favorite hot sauce and eat it by itself...it's delicious. Enjoy.

An Italian favorite gets a below the border twist. Chef Meg made just a few tweaks before giving this one her seal of approval! She adds the spices early in cooking to help boost flavor and added a full pound of turkey for a more filling meal.

My husband loves them, and much better alternative to stuffed cabbage, that he just should NOT be allowed to eat!!

Can also pre-bake peppers at 450 for 15 minutes before filling, then cook again for about 10 minutes after stuffed and they are ready to eat. I've found after a few tries, that wrapping them in foil makes for softer peppers, and closer to my level of cooking skill. It might be me or I'd like to blame my oven - but otherwise I kept burning my peppers!
