This recipe originally called for whip cream, olive oil, and regular swiss cheese. I substituted evaporated skim milk, spray olive oil, and 2% swiss cheese to reduce calories from over 700 to 351 per serving.Submitted by CHARRICE
I make this when I have some calories left at the end of the day and am craving something rich. I use only on slice of bread to cut the carbs.
This is a delicious, hearty comfort food that doesn't fill you out while sating your hunger. It's good for low-carbers, since even though it LOOKS like lasagne, there's no pasta in it - and only 1/4 cup of whole wheat breadcrumbs!
If you can't find cremini mushrooms, their "adult" form (Portabellas) works just as well.Submitted by JO_JO_BA
Pizza lover like me.... Man I can still enjoy the great taste without all the CRAZY cal's. Plus you get more bang for you cal going this route.
