Cookbook creator says: Made this today (22/10/2007) I love it, it was a bit mild for me, so i added 1 small green chilli (seeded) fantastic! My husband loves currys from the local take-away but he said this was on a par!!! made saffron rice to serve with it, heaven!!! thanks for the recipe!

My mother-in-law gave my husband this recipe to make me for me our first Valentine's Day together. We still make it pretty frequently. It's so simple and even my two preschoolers like it. I've increased the amount of carrots because otherwise my kids eat all the carrots. I usually serve it with some instant rice and a salad.
