Balsamic Glazed Cracked Pepper Salmon - Clean Eating

This recipe is super easy, quick, delicious AND qualifies as a Clean Eating meal.

I've made this recipe twice in the past week and my super picky husband has cleaned his plate both times! I usually serve it with brown rice and a vegetable.

My personal notes on this dish...less is more. Add the vinegar/honey mixture in a little bit at a time - you don't want your salmon swimming in it, just coated in it. The balsamic vinegar will darken the color of the salmon, so you may think it's done or burning, but it's probably just discolored. I like to cook my salmon until it is very firm and it has an almost hard glaze to the outside. Cook it for a minute or two longer than you think you need to!

Also, for the red pepper flakes, less is more again! I love the flavor of red pepper flakes and honey {I even eat that mixture on my chicken nuggets} remember, you can always add more, but you can't take it away!

Enjoy!

FSH Garlic Shrimp with Veggies

Based upon Garlic Shrimp by SHELLBERTANN. The cheese topping and noodles are NOT calculated in this version, so you can reduce or add a different type then I do (i.e. Ronzoni Healthy Harvest Whole Wheat).

Would also be good served over a salad or even brown rice. Very light taste so would be good as summer dish. Also, you can subsitute zucchini with yellow squash - dice all the veggies to the about the same size for uniform cooking.

I also changed the cooking direction - veggies should start first, as Shrimp takes very little time to cook.Submitted by LABYRINTH

FSH Shrimp with Tomatoes and Artichokes over Linguini

FSH Shrimp with Tomatoes and Artichokes over Linguini

Wal-mart card recipe, changed slightly. Uses ingredients that most everyone has on hand which makes it soooo easy and quick!

Since everyone uses a different pasta I have not calculated it. I generally use Ronzoni Whole Wheat linguine. Limit yourself to 2 oz.s of pasta to generally meet calorie intake.

Note: due to the artichokes this can be high in salt. Buy the water packed artichokes and rinse before using. Remove salt seasoning also to lower sodium.Submitted by LABYRINTH
