WLS friendly recipes

I had RNY Gatric Bypass in February of 2009. I am committed to not giving up some of my favorite foods, or at least the "essence" of them. I didn't want to fall into the trap of cooking a meal for my family, and then a modified or completely separate meal for myself. So far....so good....

Cookbook creator says: My dad, who was a diabetic, loved his black beans and tomatoes. This was my first "go to" with beans after my surgery. I doctored it up a bit with garlic and spices that I like. Quick, easy, filling, and versatile!

Cookbook creator says: A variation of a recipe posted on OH website. So thanks to whomever started it! These are very filling, and freeze fairly well. Versatile to change up to suit your needs and tastes! I also tried replacing the tuna with canned salmon. Works well, but calories and protein need to be adjusted a bit.
