Cookbook creator says: I actually made some changes that make this even better. Instead of flour, I used about 4 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 1/2 cup cold water to thicken it. Also, rather than cloves of garlic, I used probably 3 tbsp of jarred minced garlic. Delicious.

I used both whole wheat flour and white bread flour to keep these buns fluffy and light while still being healthier than plain white buns. Prep time listed doesn't include time that the bread maker mixes the dough.

Cookbook creator says: I posted a carmelized onion and garlic "creme" sauce recipe that goes great with these if you don't like tomato sauces. Total calories of the gnocchi and sauce (very generous portion) is under 500 calories.

Homemade Granola. Is there anything better? I make mine with organic oats and cranberries. Could take it even further by using organic brown sugar too, but I didn't go that far. :-) Delicious served with milk for breakfast but I love it with yogurt for lunch.
