LIGHT BREAKFAST CASSAROLE

THIS IS A 1/2 RECIPE OF THE BREAKFAST CASSAROLE THAT I MADE A LIGHTER VERSION OF. I HAD TO CHANGE A FEW INGREDIENTS BECAUSE I DIDN'T HAVE ALL OF THEM AND IT LIGHTENED THE RECIPES. IF YOU USE THE REDUCED FAT CHEDDAR CHEESE IT'S EVEN LIGHTER BUT I DIDN'T HAVE THAT.Submitted by INDEJAM09

THE ZONE DIET BLUEBERRY PANCAKES (LOW CARB/LOW FAT)

I SUBSTITUTED SKIM MILK FOR 1% AND EGG SUBSTITUTE FOR 2 WHOLE EGGS SINCE I HAVE TO REDUCE FAT FOR MYSELF BUT THE ZONE DIET USES THE WHOLE EGGS AND 1% MILK. I ALSO SUBSTITUTED CANOLA FOR OLIVE OIL BECAUSE I THOUGHT IT SOUNDED BETTER FOR BREAKFAST PANCAKES.
I'M USING THIS DIET WITH THE SPARK TO KEEP MY INSULIN DOWN WITH IN THE ZONE.Submitted by INDEJAM09

Burrito on the Go!

This is quick and easy burrito I make often, specially if I have to eat on the go. I happen to use a few strips of last night left over pork tenderloin but you can use just about any meat you like. I added an egg, because it was breakfast, but it also makes a great snack (no eggs will take off 70 calories)Submitted by LADYYAZZA

Wheat Germ Crepe

This makes a lovely crepe or pancake using wheat germ instead of flour. I've had this recipe for years. I make it in a large non-stick skillet, so the cake is extra-thin and crepe-like. To make it more like a typical pancake, use a smaller pan.Submitted by SEADANCER
