HCG Cookbook - Strict Phase II Protocol
I know well the temptation of adding "a bit of this and of that" when cooking for any diet, let alone a one as strict as Dr. Simeon's HCG Diet Protocol. I hope to avoid that pitfall by gathering together in one place very strict P2 recipes. Many thanks to all those who's recipes are included here!

This is a great salad for on the go people during phase 1 of the protocol. You can make it ahead of time and it will wilt. Submitted by HAPYCLRK Carbs: 35.1g | Fat: 1.6g | Fiber: 9.4g | Protein: 26.3g | Calories: 242.1

Cookbook creator says: Sounds delicious - can't wait to try it with a side of strawberry and arugula salad! But since I'm going strictly by the book on this cycle, I will divide and pre-weigh the raw chicken breast into 100 gram portions. Cookbook creator says: DO NOT make this recipe as it - but with a few changes, it will be hcg-great. Use Bragg's liquid aminos for soy; sadly, no oil and no corn starch. This will use 1 protein and 1 fruit. Green onions are a vegetable, so I'd go without. Submitted by STORMCHASERNIK Carbs: 7.4g | Fat: 9.7g | Fiber: 1.1g | Protein: 23.9g | Calories: 216.9

Cookbook creator says: This recipe sounds like it has real potential. However, don't use non-protocol Spenda. Instead, use a flavored liquid Stevia (I use Sweetleaf, but there are other brands available). This will use 1 fruit and the day's total milk allowance. Cookbook creator says: Wonderful! The tomato will use 1 vegetable allowance. Make it a French Bouillabaisse with these seasonings: garlic, orange peel, fennel, bay leaf, basil and saffron, and perhaps a pinch of hot pepper flakes or cayenne pepper. Make an hcg-friendly Orange Julius with the remaining orange for dessert. Submitted by DRDHAI Carbs: 0g | Fat: 1.2g | Fiber: 0g | Protein: 23.7g | Calories: 112.2

Cookbook creator says: I think this would be good followed by fresh sliced strawberries sprinkled with a last squeeze of lemon juice and sprinkled with Stevia. Submitted by DRDHAI Carbs: 1.1g | Fat: 2.1g | Fiber: 0g | Protein: 24.2g | Calories: 126.5

Cookbook creator says: This would be terrific stuffed into cherry tomatoes (with a few changes, it would also make a great non-hcg canape). Play with the seasonings - spicy? French? Italian? - and try it with crab, too. Submitted by DRDHAI Carbs: 1g | Fat: 2g | Fiber: 0g | Protein: 23g | Calories: 120.1

Cookbook creator says: This looks good. However, don't spray your pan with Pam...sorry, but it's not strick P2 :-( But because there is broth in your cooking pan, you don't need the Pam anyway. Braise any extra cabbage you have left of your veg allowance, and follow with a baked apple. Submitted by DRDHAI Carbs: 0g | Fat: 5.9g | Fiber: 0g | Protein: 5g | Calories: 74.8
